I’m the biggest goal setter ever, which is pretty clear considering my last few blog posts. I love making lists, I love setting myself goals and I love to be able to look back and read this one day so what better blog posts would be there to write?
I won’t say I don’t enjoy trying new products and having a little fun but for most days I like to play safe and choose the products I know will work for me. When having no time for experiments, it’s almost too satisfying to know that you have those few products that work on your skin and do what you need.
Pinterest can be such a wonderful tool to find new ideas, get inspired and learn new things. This social media platform can be confusing at first.
Why would I need Pinterest? But once you get the hang of it, it almost becomes addictive.

We all have those days when inspiration is nowhere near us. We need ideas, we need to write but there’s nothing in our creative minds. It’s time to seek out some inspiration and find new blog post ideas.
Here I go again. My school year has started four days ago and the craziness will start soon. New year, new life? Maybe but it’s so easy to fall back into old habits. I’m excited and scared but mostly excited to know what this year has to offer.
When I look back to my experience in high school I can’t say I miss those years. The last three years were definitely the hardest ones but were also the ones that taught me most of the things I’m sharing today.
If there’s something that makes me miss the colder months, it’s the comfortable and warm clothes and the bolder makeup shades you find everywhere. Everyone that knows me knows for a fact that I love bold lipstick, is there anything better than that? I don’t think so.
When I think of perfect, I might be imagining something completely different from you. That’s how we work, we all have different visions on things. I’m not perfect in my honest and modest opinion which means there’s always things I can improve.
For a long time I didn’t know what was the best way to organise all those ideas running through my head. I didn’t know what to do with them and I certainly did not know how to organise them in a way I could easily use them when needed.
I write about what I love and I’d never post something I hated. I think most of us work that way, being honest with others and more important being honest with ourselves. It doesn’t mean some blog posts don’t have a special place in our hearts. Some for pure logic reasons and some people we simply loved typing away.
Whenever it comes to my mind that my second year at Uni will start soon I just can’t believe how quickly the first year went. I remember as if it was yesterday the butterflies all over my stomach on my first day. The scary thoughts of not being able to make friends or not being able to understand a thing teachers would say. It’s a scary world and I felt like a lost baby at first.
Let’s keep it positive and reflect about the good things that happened in this last month. It might seem difficult with all the negativism the world is facing due to the last few disasters that have been happening lately but it’s worth a try.
Your blog template is one of the most important parts of your blog I believe. It has to be functional and contemplate all the features you need. The first difficult choice is whether to get a free template or pay for one. Today I’m showing you 10 Free Templates for Blogger.
Packing for holiday can be a nightmare for those who wish they could carry their entire house with them (me?). This year I decided I’ll try to pack the least amount of things I can & makeup is no exception.
Endless are the times when I complain about things that aren’t that important at the end of the day. Sometimes I sit down and reflect about how lucky I truly am to have the life I do and I’m not talking about money, clothes or makeup.
Summer is the time of the year I leave my skin to breathe as I don’t wear makeup most of the days but when I do I focus mostly of the face and I’m never really as bothered with the eyes. Fresh and light makeup, you know?
5 Happy Things in July”) and I even got to try a few new products.
Spring has been around for almost two months so it’s time to put aside all the heavy and Winter-y makeup and start thinking about the glow and lighter colours Spring has to offer. Today I wanted to show you some of my favourite products for this season! For when it’s actually Spring…
Today is Mother’s Day is Portugal and what better day to write about my mum? I wanted to share with you a few Things My Mum Has Taught Me through my entire life and that I thank every day. I honestly can’t imagine my life without me mum and I do really recognise how much she does for me and I just wish that one day I’ll be as altruist as she is. These are simple things that I really try not to forget.
Sharing our thoughts about blogging is a common thing in our community and we all know that some people find blogging incredibly weird and there’s even those who think it’s horrendous the fact that blogging can actually be a job. But have we actually heard what people around us have to say about blogging? What they think blogging means to us and how they see the bloggers who are friends with them or friends who are bloggers?
The last few weeks have been overwhelming in so many ways I can’t even put it into words. I have been having some amazing days and some shitty days as well and my motivation is pretty much gone. Last September I cut down one day on my blogging schedule and I never thought that I’d have to do it again but I have. Uni has been harder than I expected and it has been taking me more time than I ever thought.
I haven’t been happy with what I’ve been achieve at Uni and I really want to change that. Posting three times a week and doing all my Uni work while making good quality stuff on both sides has been way too much for me to handle and I’m finally making the move and I’m cutting down one more day on my blogging schedule. I feel pretty terrible by doing this as I always thought I could do all at the same time but I just can’t.
From now on I’ll be posting only two days a week, Wednesdays and Sundays and it feels extremely little to me but I can’t keep creating good content if I push myself to post three times a week. However, I’ll try to post some extra posts on the weeks I feel freer and with less pressure on my shoulders.
This post is a bit of a mishmash but I honestly don’t seem to be able to write properly on this subject. I want to thank every single one of you that has taken some time to comment on my blog and some people have been so lovely and amazing it makes me wonder if I actually deserve to read such kind words. I also want to say I’m very sorry for not replying to most of your comments and I’m promising you today that I’ll be reading all your past comments and replying to all of them in the next few days.
I hope you stick by and I really hope that you still enjoy this little corner on the internet. Thank you for every lovely word.
When doing my makeup there are always steps or products I skip if I’m on a rush or if I just don’t feel like spending a lot of time doing it but there are a few products that I never skip. Today I’m sharing with you 5 Must Have Makeup Items in my Routine.
When you’re new to this blogging world it can be hard to figure out what you’re doing wrong or what to change on your blog in order to have a more positive feedback but it’s not that difficult. Think about what you’d like to see, what other blogs you do enjoy reading and start learning from others. Today I’m sharing 5 Things That Can Make Me Not Follow Your Blog.
The Ones I Saved” time! I am finally writing this post after so many days of postponement. I’ve been so busy and maybe a bit disorganised with Uni at the moment that it wasn’t easy to find a time to put together all my favourite posts from the past weeks. As usual the third episode of “The Ones I Saved” has a bit of everything including fashion which is something a bit rarer around here!
March is always a long but special month for me because it's many people birthday including mine! I really did have one of the most amazing birthdays ever and I'm very thankful that I have some awesome, genuine and lovely people in my life. With so much going on I didn't have much time to try new products but I did got a very expecting new one!
How many times have you told yourself and others "I don't have time"? Probably way too many. In the last few years I've learnt a lot about organising my days and being in control of my life and I know what things help me achieve everything I want.
Finding a good drugstore foundation can be frustrating sometimes: not matte enough, too drying, doesn’t last, looks cakey and we could be here until tomorrow explaining why a certain foundation isn’t the right one. After trying a few foundations that weren’t right for me, I finally found one that I love that I have been using for months: Catrice All Matt Plus Foundation.
Time goes by and sometimes it seems that we’re just living life without any purpose. We’re not. Grab a cup of tea and think about all the things you’ve learnt through the years: small things, big things and maybe irrelevant things for others.
In two days I'll be nineteen! How crazy is that? It seems it was yesterday I was writing down a blogpost about being the birthday girl on my old blog but that was almost a year ago! Today I wanted to show you my possible makeup look for my birthday using only affordable products.
The beginning of this year was special: I posted for the first time on this blog and it all started with some blogging goals I wanted to accomplish. It’s now the beginning of March which means that two entire months are gone so I wanted to reflect on how I have been doing and if I’ve been achieving my blogging goals.
